i can start by saying we heard from a spokesperson for chevron. she started by apologizing to the whole community for having to shelter in place and having to deal with this refinery fire t huge plume of smoke. but what we don't know right now is exactly what caused this refinery fire in the first place. she told us that part of this is still under investigation this morning. we know this started around 6:30 last night, sending the huge plumes of black smoke in the sky, prompting a shelter in place for communities including richmond, north richmond, san pablo and north oakland. many people complained of throat irritation and breathing problems. the spokesperson says that the shelter in place was lifted at 11:31 last night, five hours after this fire started. the refinery ended its shelter in place here about 20 minutes later. what we do know is that they tell us they were doing normal diesel processing operations in crude unit four. there was some sort of leak, it ignited. right now the main fire is out. >> safety officials are allowing a small co
